Authenticated **Admin** and **HQ** apps also use cookies for login sessions (see §5). Those are strictly necessary for the product you request.

## 4. Consent & controls
Where required (e.g., EU/UK), non-essential cookies load only after consent via our banner or preference controls. You can change choices by clearing cookies and revisiting the site, or emailing privacy@counterlypos.com.
**Browser blocking:** Use your browser’s Privacy / Cookies settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) to block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may break login or preference storage.
**Do Not Track / GPC:** Where Global Privacy Control is recognized as an opt-out of sale/sharing, we will honor a valid GPC signal for advertising cookies to the extent required and technically feasible.

## 5. Product apps (Admin / HQ / POS web)
- **Admin / HQ:** HTTP-only auth cookies (`counterly_token`, related session cookies). On the Admin Apple WebView we may use `Secure; SameSite=None` on HTTPS so the session persists.
- **Store preference:** optional `counterly_store_id` cookie to remember the last store context.
- These cookies are required to operate the Service you signed up for and are not marketing cookies.
Native POS apps may use secure on-device storage instead of browser cookies; see the Privacy Policy for account and device data.
